The Steering Committee of the Chipdesign Germany network
The Steering Committee is the strategic decision-making body of the Chipdesign Germany network. It identifies the main areas of focus, sets priorities, establishes working groups, and determines their tasks and objectives. A research advisory board made up of experts provides the network with content-related support.
How the steering committee works
Working groups appointed by the Steering Committee can be set up on a permanent basis or on an ad hoc basis as required. In addition, the steering committee sets the strategic objectives of the Chipdesign Germany network, monitors their implementation, and adapts the network's focus to changing conditions. It usually meets twice a year.

Composition of the Steering Committee
The Steering Committee consists of personally appointed, renowned representatives of all relevant interest groups in the semiconductor industry, its users, and the relevant scientific community. The members of the spokespersons committee are ex officio members of the committee without voting rights. Representatives of the BMFTR may attend the meetings as guests.
