Working group Trustworthy Electronics

The "Trustworthy Electronics" working group is a community of researchers and stakeholders from research institutes, universities, and industry. The working group positions itself as a platform that connects different sectors horizontally to jointly advance the field of trustworthy electronics. Particular attention is paid to the automotive, medical technology, critical infrastructure (KRITIS), IoT, mechanical engineering, and industrial technology sectors. In addition, the working group focuses on the areas of telecommunications ecosystems, financial services, energy grids, aerospace, smart cities, and smart homes/buildings. - Sharing information within the working group on new research findings ,
- Definition and exchange of best practices between universities, research institutes, industry, authorities, testing laboratories, and distributors,
- Monitoring the development of new regulations for secure production (e.g., the NIS2 Directive) and secure products (e.g., the Cyber Resilience Act),
- Monitoring relevant international standardization efforts for trustworthy electronics,
- Analyzing and discussing new incidents in the field of trustworthy electronics,
- Technical presentations at trade fairs and conferences,
- Identifying new research needs and projects based on the findings of the above activities.
