DI-ORDeC
Text-Based Open-Source Design Methodology for Sustainable Design of Analog Microchips
DI-ORDeC introduces a text-based, open-source design methodology for the sustainable and reproducible design of analog microchips, facilitating version control and collaboration in analog circuit design.
Objectives and Approach
The project develops and demonstrates a comprehensive open-source design platform for text-based creation of analog designs, including a compiler for physical layouts and a browser-based GUI for interactive circuit development.
Innovations and Perspectives
The open-source design platform is designed to be technology-agnostic, enabling reduced development time in analog design across multiple technologies. Integrated features visualize silicon area requirements and energy efficiency to support sustainability optimization.
