Academic Alliance
The academic alliance of the Chipdesign Germany network is the first Germany-wide academic alliance of its kind for research and teaching in the field of microelectronics. It offers a platform for exchange and co-operation at the levels of technology and research, science policy and the training of academic specialists.
Goals of the Academic Alliance
Fostering cooperation at national and European level through joint events and workshops
Visibility at specialist conferences and in the academic community
Inventory and needs assessment, development of solution concepts, position papers
Increasing the attractiveness of the field for young talent, collaboration with various partners
Improving access to measurement and testing infrastructure and technological expertise
Systematic analysis and expansion of curricula for modern chip design studies
